An exciting new tour offering at Vergelegen to showcase the culmination of 20 years of ongoing commitment to sustainability and rehabilitation. We start off the Environmental excursion with a delicious breakfast at our Stables Bistro, followed by a journey of discovery through the Vergelegen arboretum and biodiversity nature reserve, with possible sightings of free-range Nguni cattle, Bontebok & Eland antelope that are part of an ongoing doctoral thesis in conjunction with CTEET (Cape Town Environmental Education Trust).
